It's Been a Long Time

It has been a long time since the last time I've posted anything so I thought I'd do a post with some random pics I like. This one is my favorite picture of the Z-man. Trish made me a really nice framed copy for my office. Whenever I look at it I can't help but smile?

This is a baby sling. It's the must have fashion accessory for the discerning Daddy this Spring. Sweet buff bodybuilding pose optional. If you made the baby you ought to be secure enough in your masculinity to wear him.

How cute is this? This is the outfit we went and bought for Zeke when we found out we were going to have a baby. He's looking good in the hood.

This is our Easter Sunday Picture. Trish looks hot no matter what she wears. Zeke is rocking the Polo onesie. I am rocking my traditional easter egg outfit. Searsucker rocks. Boss Hog eat your heart out. If anyone would like to send me a bandanna bib I will wear it at lunch after Church whenever I wear this suit.
We live in West Virginia now. Don't worry, he will still be attending Baylor (Hopefully on full golf and national merit scholarship). Also, fat bellies make for the most comfortable chairs.

A Few More Pictures

Here are a few more pictures for you. We will hopefully be home by noon today. I am psyched to sleep in my own bed, even if it is only for a few hours at a time. The first picture shows why Zeke is so good looking. Trish is beautiful.
Here's where he gets that round head and big mouth from.
This is my favorite picture so far It's my screen saver. He has Trish's feet. They can both spread their toes incredibly wide. Hope you like these. There will be more to come. We forgot the cord for our camera so these are all taken with my computer. The Apple bails me out again. Thanks Jeff.

Zeke's Nursery

Please excuse the flash in many of the pictures...we have not hung our new light fixture and my digital camera is not the best.  We got this vintage bedspread on ebay!
Trish has not made a curtain for Zeke's room so until then, this bib clothes line will have to do. Thanks Brittney!
A little decoration to go over the dresser.
Katie stamped this card for Ezekiel at his first baby shower..this picture does not do it justice.
The Count is Rick's favorite Sesame Street guy so he was a must have when it came to characters on Zeke's wall.
Super Grover is Trish's hero.  These letters were brought to you by Lacy C!
We both love Oscar the Grouch and Mom did an excellent job painting him with texture and Bob cut out all the details of his fur.
More super cute invitations and cards that people handmade add a special touch to the room.

The Nursery is almost finished. This week we received all of the Sesame Street characters that Mom and Bob made for the walls and they are awesome. The painting is perfect and Bob even cut them out of the wood down to the individual hairs on Bert and Ernie I will just let y'all check them out. We also put up that great letters that Lacy made and all of our amazing shower invitations. Without further adieu; Zeke's Room.

Everyone Wants to See Pregnant Pictures

I'm sorry it's been a while. I've been busy with Christmas and New Years and we never take any pictures. However, everyone has been bugging us for pregnant Trish pictures so here goes. Sorry, I'm in some of these too. I know you only want to see Trish and not my ugly mug. I'd like to say that I am big in the pictures because I have put on sympathy weight but that is not the case.

Halloween Fun

About a week ago we had a sweet pumpkin carving party. Here are some pics of the good times

Trish was psyched on carving.
I just wanted to do a silly face and eat caramel apples.

Here are the three pumpkins we carved. Vote for your favorite in the comments. You can probably figure out who carved what but I am going to leave them anonymous to keep the voting fair.

I'm a traditionalist, but, I must say they are all pretty cool.

On more of a sad note. We gave away Booger yesterday. Booger and Gracie were constantly fighting and Booger was incredibly stubborn to train. We just did not have enough time to spend training him and with the baby coming we decided that we needed to be focused on our child rather than where Booger was all the time. However, even with his problems he was a lovable and friendly dog and was a lot of fun to have around. We will miss him. Gracie will not.

It's A Boy

Here is the first real picture of Ezekiel Wray Emerson. We will call him Zeke. I will probably call him Easy E. We had the sonogram today and although it is cool to know that it is a boy (what we were hoping for), It is even cooler that everything seems healthy and he was moving around all over the place. We are right at 18 weeks and he weighs half a pound. We are very blessed.
This is a profile view. Does he look like me or Trish? Either way he'll definitely be good looking.
Apparently you can see a penis in here somewhere. If you can, tell me where, because I sure can't. The lady said she was 99% sure it was a boy and that's good enough for me even if I can't see the goods.
