Well in case you haven't heard we are having a baby. Trish is about 12 to 14 weeks right now. Our due date is March 20th. This is what our baby is supposed to look like right now. Trish will go for our first ultrasound in a couple more weeks and then we will have a real picture. I call it our Peanut right now because that is basically what it looks like.
Having a Baby is scary. First, because that means there is going to be a little me running around and the world may not be ready for another Emerson. Second, it means that I will be a Dad. Being responsible for the life and upbringing of another human being is a scary proposition. Especially since I have the tendency to still act like a child myself. If anyone has any words of wisdom for me I would appreciate it.
Also having a baby makes me officially old. It was bad enough to get my first real job and buy a house. Oh well I guess age is really just how you feel or act. (spoken like a true old guy)

CONGRATULATIONS!!!!! Yeah Trish and Rick. I'm so excited for yall! Oh yall will be great parents! Thanks for updating..please keep your blog posted with baby info! Trish..;hang in there, hope pregnancy is going well for you. I absolutley LOVED being pregnant!

I cannot believe you guys are having a baby! Jeff just told me...like 10 minutes ago and I had to come downstairs right away and tell you that I am SO happy for both of you! You will be such good (and fun) parents. Oh man, I'm so pumped--I can't wait to see you both again so I can give you both big hugs.
YAY! You have to let us know what you're having when you find out so that I make your baby some great things in my new craft room (Jeff gives me a craft room as opposed to a nursery, haha!).
We love you both and hope to see you at Thanksgiving!
